I have a problem with long projects. Namely, I get distracted by new ideas. I tried really hard to work on my tree shawl this week, and I did get some progress (and I changed the leaves a little bit). However, I had another idea pressing my mind. I have a key that doesn’t go with any of our other keys (we only have one, and there are multiple people who need this key). And one key is very easy to misplace. Thus, Kyrrah, the Keeper of the Key was envisioned.
She has a more Asian design than the rest of our dragon family, and she’s a fair amount smaller. In fact, she actually fits into my Dragon Egg Dice Bag!
The only downside is that I got so excited in the middle of the dragon that I forgot to keep writing down the pattern. I guess that means I have to make another! (Kidding! Kyrrah was actually a lot of fun to make.)
This is also my first time designing amigurumi, which was a lot of fun. I’m very happy with the way she turned out. What projects tend to draw your attention?
